Edge Gateway
A purpose-built hardware gateway installed at each home. Communicates with the battery BMS over CAN bus and with the Intellivolt cloud over TLS 1.3. Processes local dispatch commands in under 10ms.
AI Optimisation Engine
A distributed ML system that runs continuous optimisation across the entire fleet. Ingests real-time grid frequency data, day-ahead energy prices, weather forecasts, and individual battery state to compute optimal dispatch schedules.
Grid Dispatch Layer
Direct integration with National Grid ESO's balancing mechanism APIs. Participates in Dynamic Containment (DC), Dynamic Moderation (DM), and Dynamic Regulation (DR) markets. Fully automated, BSC-compliant dispatch.
